I have a *lot* of Kate collapsible backdrops, and this one may be my favorite of all for photographing shelter dogs. The brown side, in particular, makes every dog look good. The black side of mine is actually more of a very dark blue, and it is also flattering for many of the doggies.

I like both sides of this backdrop for photographing shelter dogs. The yellow side is sunny and cheerful, and the teal works well for many dogs. It's one of my go-to backdrops. The quality, like all of my Kate collapsible backdrops, is great.
I have been especially happy with the "rusty iron" side of this backdrop for photographing shelter dogs. It is very versatile with a wide range of dogs. The beige side is very nice too. The quality is good, and the color is what I expected when I ordered it.
I have a *lot* of Kate collapsible backdrops that I use to photograph shelter dogs, and I have been happy with the quality of all of them. This one is no exception. The dark brown side on this backdrop is more of an eggplant color. The eggplant color is nice, and I have gotten some good photos with it, but I usually reach for other colors instead. The silver/gray side is a bit lighter than I would prefer, and comes off looking like dirty snow. I usually have to play with the silver/gray in post to get something I am happy with.
I can’t wait to take Father’s Day pics at church Sunday with this backdrop. It is stunning!
